6/18/2010We received an exciting tweet last weekend! Yancy’s songs “Shout” and “With All My Heart” from the Rock-N-Happy Heart CD were used in worship at Hillsong Kids at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. As you may know Hillsong has provided some of the most beloved worship songs sung in Churches worldwide over the past decade. (Shout To The Lord, Might To Save, Take It All, I Give You My Heart) Yancy says: “It is a true honor that they would choose to use my songs in their kids worship services. My heart is leaping.” Yancy shared some over her songs live at the Hills campus last August when she was on tour in Australia. Here’s a few pictures from that trip:
2/3/2010So far my 2010 has been treating me well. I’m excited for this year and all it will bring. We are just a month away from the release of “Rock-N-Happy Heart: The Devotional”. It’s not a CD. It’s not more music. It’s a book for preteens and older elementary age kids to help teach them the importance of a daily devotional time. It’s a 12 week devotional based on the songs from the Rock-N-Happy Heart CD. I’m really excited for this resource to help kids deepen their roots in their faith.
