I’ve been home a good bit the past couple weeks which is a rarity for me but it’s been great. My husband and I spent some time in one of our favorite places, Los Angeles, California. It was great to have a few days to chill and enjoy beautiful weather. I came home ready to tackle some of that spring cleaning I mentioned in my last post. Whether it was closet cleaning and making some donations to Goodwill or washing patio furniture and sweeping dust bunnies…I was reminded of how important it is for us to clean inside and out. Having an organized closet means nothing if our heart is cluttered and stained with mistakes.
Psalm 51:10 says “Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.” This should be our prayer everyday. My Mom always quoted the lyrics to a song by a Christian Rock Band in the 80’s “Mylon Lefevre and Broken Heart” that was called “Love God, Hate Sin”. She wrote it in every birthday card, letter while I was at camp, etc. At times it seemed silly as to why she told me that so many times but it sunk in. Now that I’m a bit older I get it. “Love God, Hate sin”. if we lived our lives by that rule do you realize how much better the world would be? If we love God with all our hearts and we strive to live our life according to the Bible. Choosing to be in the world not of it. Not conformed to the things of this world but transformed by God’s amazing grace. Wow. I want it to be said of me that was sincerely and completely devoted to God. I realize I’m not perfect and I won’t be but I want my heart to be pure and clean. I want to be faithful to what God has called me to do. We are all messengers of His love. It’s time to let that story shine brightly just like a clean floor or sink sparkles. I want my heart to be sparkly clean and fresh.
I’m in the middle of writing songs, thinking and dreaming of my next record that I’ll begin recording in May. Keep me in your prayers for creativity, new songs, direction, etc. I want this project to impact lives and be filled with the promises of God’s word.

I will be praying for you. I have just begun to use your music during our worship time. I can’t sing, and I don’t play an instrument, but as children’s pastor, lead our praise and worship.
Your music is fun and energetic, like much of the other music available, although, I can feel a real presence of the Holy Spirit through out. I’ve told every parent and other children’s pastors that I know about your music. There’s such a huge difference when the music is anointed.
I am looking forward to your new music.

i think a pure heart is that u think of someone pure soled and always HELPFUL even if its for a good or bad cause!! as long as u will let god into ur heart and belive in him (GOD) something good might happen even if ur someone is in jail god will always for give that person or all the bad people in this world today!
